Allegra, a passionate climber, survived a terrorist attack that killed three of her friends. Crushed and consumed by guilt and hatred, she is no longer herself. Her loved ones are helpless when confronted with her suffering. To regain confidence and love, she must embark on a challenging journey and question herself. She meets Arad, a young refugee from the Middle East, which leads her to an encounter-confrontation with the Other.

Il percorso di Niccolò Castelli nel mondo dell’arte e della comunicazione nasce prima di tutto in ambito musicale. Giovanissimo inizia a lavorare per Rete Tre della Radiotelevisione svizzera e occupandosi di programmi musicali. Parallelamente suona il basso nella band di stampo indie rock MUSh. È naturale quindi che nel tempo abbia voluto accostare la passione per la musica a quella per le immagini. Nascono così i video musicali da lui realizzati e alcuni di essi sono riportati qui di seguito.

Niccolò Castelli’s art and communication carrier starts in the music field. Very young he began working for the Swiss national radio RSI Rete Tre, dealing with music programs. In parallel he played bass in the indie rock band MUSh: therefor it is quite natural that he started to pull together two passions of his: music and images. Chi pratica lo sport a livello agonistico, chi ne ha fatto uno stile di vita, chi ci arriva quasi per caso. Chi in mezzo alla folla cerca la forza per conquistarsi attimi di contatto profondo con se stesso e con la natura; chi per le strade si sente a casa e nel caos cerca la famiglia; chi invece trova la pace nel vuoto. Tre giovani “diversi”, speciali, accomunati dalla necessità di doversi confrontare con un mondo “adulto”. Tre giovani che la vita mette alla prova ponendo loro una grande sfida: prendere coscienza di se stessi mantenendo acceso quel fuoco sacro che li fa sentire vivi. Una sfida difficile, che ognuno di essi affronta nella sua solitudine. Vivere, diventare grandi, cercando di non smettere di sognare un futuro tutto loro. Perché il desiderio più forte è vivere la propria passione, vivere per ciò che fa battere il cuore, vivere se stessi in un mondo “non ordinario”. Un film per raccontare un momento della vita in cui ci si sente soli con se stessi, con davanti a sé un grande, splendido e spaventoso vuoto. Una solitaria scelta di percorso fra sogni e paure, successi e sconfitte.

One is a professional athlete. One thinks of sport as a lifestyle. And one gets into sport almost by chance. One, surrounded by the crowd, seeks the inner strength to carve out moments of profound intimacy with self and nature. One feels at home on the street, seeking a family in chaos. And one finds peace in emptiness. Three young people who are “different”, special, but who share a common need to measure up to an “adult” world. Three young people that life puts to a severe test: can they achieve self-awareness, and still nurture that sacred flame which makes them feel alive? It is a massive challenge, which each must face alone. To live, to grow up, while trying not to stop dreaming of a future all your own. Because the strongest desire is to live your own passion, to live for what makes your heart beat faster, to live for yourself in a world that is out of the “ordinary”. A film about the time in your life in which you feel alone with yourself, facing a vast, magnificent and frightening void. A decision about which road to take, made alone between dreams and fears, successes and defeats.

Un anno nell’universo di Lara Gut, dalla vittoria della Coppa del Mondo Generale di sci alpino nel 2016 fino al rientro alle gare dopo un infortunio all’apice della sua carriera. Un documentario su una giovane donna e una campionessa alla ricerca di un proprio percorso in equilibrio fra realizzazione personale e aspettative pubbliche.

A year in Lara Gut’s universe, from the victory of the Alpine Ski World Cup Overall title in 2016 to the comeback after an injury at the peak of her career.  A documentary about a young woman and a champion trying to find her way amidst self-fulfillment and public expectations.
